The site is still in it’s test phase, as I need to finish a few more pages under “my car”.<\/p>\n

The main goal for the site is to try and see if I can use QR codes placed around my car at events and car shows to link back here to specific pages with detailed information about what they are looking at.<\/p>\n

This code will link back here – try scanning with your phone<\/p><\/div>\n

QR codes are a small 3D bar code that when scanned via a smart phone will load a web page.\u00a0 In my case I’ll have several QR codes around the car (only during the show) that will link back here<\/p>\n

Example, say someone walks up to my car and is trying to find out how my Shaker Hood works.\u00a0 Luckily for them, I’ve placed a QR code near the shaker.\u00a0 They scan the code with their smart phone and it brings them back here to the\u00a0 Shaker\/TA hood<\/a> (currently one of the blank pages) page that details what the hood is and in some cases, how it was installed.<\/p>\n

I plan on testing, for the first time at the Downtown Longwood (Central Florida) event May 12, 2012 5PM – 8PM – More info over at the Orlando Bowtie club page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I hope to have all the pages in place for this event, create and print some AR codes and see how it goes.<\/p>\n
